CNC Service Technician

 

  For the last 24 years, ABLE Machine Tool Sales has been one of New England’s 

  leading distributors of CNC Machines.  Our reputation has been built on keeping our

  customers successful by providing them with the latest state-of-the-art CNC

  equipment and supporting the customer with our service and applications expertise.

 

  ABLE Machine Tool Sales is looking for an individual to join our superior service

  team.  We service all six New England states and eastern New York State. 

  A company vehicle, test equipment and factory training will be provided.

  Basic hand tools are required.

 

  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

·        Machine repair

·        New/used machine installations

·        Install options on new equipment

·        Complete all paperwork in an organized and timely manner

·        Maintain the company vehicle and have a good driving record, as

         required by service guidelines

·        Inform customer on all work being performed

·        Provide phone support when needed

·        Provide training as needed

·        Assist other employees with service issues

·        Maintain a clean showroom and toolroom at ABLE

·        Maintain a professional manner and appearance while at a customer’s

         facility as outlined in the service guidelines

·        Comply with safety regulations required by customers

·        Assist with set-up of open houses or tool shows

·        Assist in development of written procedures for installation of 

         accessories/options/field installed items.

·        Keep updated on new machine products and service issues

 

Physical Demands:

·        Must be able to safely lift 50lbs

·        Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and sitting.

·        Must be able to travel to all locations in a plant.

 

Travel

·        Limited overnight travel
